MBON Executive Secretariat
The Executive Secretariat of the Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON) is hosted by the AIR Centre, with its headquarters in Terceira Island, Azores.
The agreement between MBON, AIR Centre and the Azores Regional Fund for Science and Technology was first celebrated in November 2018. It established a partnership that supports the advancement of scientific knowledge and the creation of technology-based solutions that contribute to the conservation of marine biodiversity and ecosystems, as well as to the development of effective management policies at local, Atlantic, and global scales.
