The MBON is pleased to announce that Dr Frank Muller-Karger, MBON
co-chair, was recognized by The Oceanography Society (TOS) 2024 Honors
as a Fellow for his exceptional achievement and contributions to ocean
sciences.
The citation recognizes him for extraordinary endowment and leadership
in furthering our understanding of Earth and, in particular, the ocean,
through the use of remote sensing and field work.
Dr. Muller-Karger’s achievements will be celebrated during The
Oceanography Society’s Honors Breakfast taking place on February 21,
2024, during the Ocean Sciences Meeting.
