ERDDAP — Environmental Research Data Server
ERDDAP is a data server developed by NOAA that gives a simple, consistent way to download subsets of scientific datasets in many formats (CSV, NetCDF, JSON, and more) and to make graphs and maps on the fly. Dozens of institutions run public ERDDAP servers.
Together they host MBON-relevant data including AOML satellite Seascapes , Gulf of Maine zooplankton time series (NERACOOS), and Gulf of Mexico MBON benthic and biodiversity tables (GCOOS). The MBON Data catalog discovers ERDDAP datasets by searching across the awesome-erddap registry of servers.
